Blind Item: Closeted Homosexual Jake Gyllenhaal New Female Beard Is Actress Minka Kelly Since He Has A Movie Coming Out This Year!!!

[Hollywood Dame] Remember when we mentioned that actor who has been immersing himself in work but his team has been busy beard shopping? Well, he has found a taker. She hasn’t done much lately, but she will be in a movie filled with big names next year.

My Guess: Jake Gyllenhaal is gay but he will not come out of the closet.  Society is becoming more acceptable of homosexuality. However, Hollywood is still  reticent to accepting young male stars being gay.  The public does not want to believe the movie star hunks are gay and neither does the mainstream media.

I personally think Jake Gyllenhaal is a solid B+ star but he is not A list.

Society is still very homophobic and people do not want their hunks to be gay!

Jake and his management team have attempted to butch up his image by trying to make him an action star and leading man.

I can understand this might be upsetting to heterosexual women but Jake Gyllenhaal is not straight. Straight women will not accept a good looking young male actor if he comes out.  Jake Gyllenhaal recent film roles Prince of Persia, Source Code,  are his attempt to reach a  male audience.

The young male demographic is not going to support an openly gay action hero.

I noticed a pattern in the last couple of years prior to the release of a new film Jake suddenly has a  girlfriend.

Remember, two years ago  Jake was suddenly dating the country singer Taylor Swift. Taylor seemed like an odd choice for Jake but she was his   beard.  The photograph  on the cover of  US Weekly appeared staged and fake.

The general public needs to be cognizant of the fact media companies also have a role in presenting a heterosexual image of stars.

People read tabloids because they want to live vicariously through the life of the celebrity.

I doubt the female targeted audience of Us Weekly would love it if they  found out Jake is indeed gay. I imagine Jake and his publicists believed it can help his career to appeal to a younger heterosexual female demographic market. Well it appears Jake Gyllenhaal is at it again he has a movie  End Of Watch coming out later this  year. Jake’s new beard is actress Minka Kelly. Minka has a role in the high profile film  The Butler.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly makes you think that Jake Gyllenhaal is gay? I’ve been hearing this rumor for years and I wonder not only what triggered this speculation but also and most of all when will it finally get old.

Is it just because of Brokeback Mountain? Because honestly, I want to believe that you (and all the others) are smarter than that. Is it because he is 31yo and not married or in a steady relationship? Again, I’m sure you wouldn’t miss the ridiculousness of such theory if you tried to apply it to your real life friends and acquaintances. Is it because he hangs around with male friends and a few of them are long time ones? Cause I thought we were all allowed to have those without them being necessarily “bromances”.

Or is it because you just fervently wish he were? (not sure what difference would that make to you, though).

I’m not a heterosexual woman but even if I were I honestly wouldn’t give a damn if he were gay or bi or hetero and just like I wouldn’t want to be labeled for my sexual preferences the same respect I think should be granted to him and the rest of the world.

I agree when you say “However, Hollywood is still reticence to accepting young male stars being gay” but it’s not what I meant to discuss about here, it would be too long and not pertinent to my question above.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Well as I already said I believe Jake Gyllenhaal’s homosexuality is obvious to me because of the patterns of his publicists. For instance, I posted the cover of an US Weekly magazine with Taylor Swift and Jake because the romance was obviously fake. He has a manufactured image of appearing straight when he is not.

Is it your business if he is or isn’t? That’s one of the many reasons why gay people are still hated. Self centered gay people thinking that everything that’s remotely different from society patterns is explained by latent homossexuality. Yes, there are a lot of closeted people, and many of those are actors. But oddness isn’t the same as homossexuality. Stop creating stereotypes, and start minding your own business.

Dear anonymous when a person decides to becomes a celebrity the individual has lost the right to a private life. You fail to see the bigger picture since society is still very homophobic many hunky male stars pretend to be straight in order to have an acting career. The whole point of being a celebrity is to acquire publicity so the public gets to know the star.

I also want to point out another part of the fame game is to create an image for the public to consume. A lot of stars have secrets yet present a false image that they are something else. Gay celebrities like Jake Gyllenhaal can really make a difference for gay rights. I think it is hypocritical of Jake Gyllenhaal and his PR team for creating a false straight image.

Yes Jake is a coward for being in the closet and presenting a heterosexual image. A celebrity can’t have it both ways. Celebrities want fame yet they need exposure and publicity. Why do you think the supermarket tabloids make millions of dollars per year? People want to have a human connection to celebrities and the tabloids fulfill this need and fill the void. The tabloids expose the ugliness of celebrity and show people that stars are not perfect people. Some stars are vain, self centered, and yes they call the tabloids for publicity too.

“People want to have human connection to celebrities and the tabloids fulfill this need”. True. And celebrities need to keep their fans’ interest stoked and sometimes use fake relationships with that goal in mind. Nothing wrong with that, it’s the old rule of supply and demand. I think Jake’s publicists’ intent is really just this: making up flirts like the one with Taylor Swift so that a certain kind of fans (the majority, I’m afraid) feel all excited and buy tabloids and go see movies.

Made up flirts are not meant with the sole purpose to cover closeted actors. Do you have any idea of how many unlikely couple-alerts we get fed with every day? and you really think that ALL those people are closeted gays or lesbians? Can’t you see that that would be a tad excessive?

Strong statements like “Yes Jake is a coward for being in the closet and presenting a heterosexual image” demand more reasoning than what you shared. If an alleged fake relationship means that that actor is covering his/her homosexuality, the whole Hollywood would be just a huge (closeted) gay parade.

Look, I’m not saying that it doesn’t happen, because it surely does. There ARE closeted actors who hide their homosexuality because they don’t want to risk their career. I’m just saying that Jake didn’t do anything different from hundreds of other actors to make me believe that he is one. And I don’t think any of the reasons you wrote would convince anyone (surely not me) of the opposite.
